Two Birthday Celebrations!

This past weekend we celebrated both kids birthdays at Papa and Grandma Kilians. We celebrated Kayley's second birthday and Caden's first birthday! Caden wasn't so sure what to think of the cake. He liked the way it tasted, but he did not like the frosting on his fingers! He wanted to be spoon fed! While opening his presents, he was content as can be with this play plastic knife! He is so close to walking, but not quite yet. He can walk behind his little toy walker and just laughs and giggles when he does! I bet he will be walking soon! He is so proud that he is climbing stairs right now. He will climb up the stairs and look back at you and giggle! Too cute! Kayley LOVES balloons! She was thrilled as can be that grandma had balloons for her!!! She points at balloons and says loons! She is starting to repeat what we say, which is really cute! She can tell you she is two! In fact two is her favorite number. When we count, she wants to say two all of the time! We got her a dollhouse for her birthday and it has been a big hit. She will sit for long periods of time and put these little babies in and out of highchairs, beds , swings! I love watching her play. I just wonder what that little mind thinks sometimes! Happy Birthday to my two little sweethearts!!!!!

Kraynak's

We had so much fun at Kraynaks! Kayley loved all of the christmas tree displays and she just loved walking around the toy store! This store has every christmas decoration known to man. It made me want to totally redecorate my tree! This is definetely going to be a yearly tradition. I think Caden will love it next year!

Happy Second Birthday Kayley!!!

We had a really busy weekend this past weekend! We had gotten together with Rex's parents to celebrate both kids birthdays for the month. Kayley's is the 14th and Caden's is the 20th. These pics I'm posting of Kayley are actually on her Birthday Day. We took her to Build a Bear. We weren't quite sure if she would be ready for it or not, but she was! She had so much fun!!!!! She picked out her bear. She went right for the pink one with hearts! She went through the whole process. Picked out a heart for her bear. She kissed it and then gave it to the store associate to put in her bear. I wasn't thinking she would let anyone have her bear, but she surrendered it for the little while that it took to put the heart in the bear and to stuff the bear! She then proceeded around the store and checked out all of the clothes to dress her bear! She would have been fine with the naked bear (which would have been cheaper!) But I insisted we find a outfit for her bear. Again she complied! She loved carrying around the shopping bag from Build a Bear the best I think! :) It was a really fun time with her! I am so glad that we took her!!! Happy Birthday my sweet sweet Kayley girl!!!!!

Two fast easy recipes

Crockpot Lazy Lasagna

1lb. ground beef
1 32-oz jar spaghetti sauce (you may want more, if you like a lot of sauce)
1 8-oz bag of noodles (I use egg noodles)
1 16oz container of cottage cheese (you can also use ricotta cheese- the cottage cheese just saves you on some calories)
1 8-oz bag of shredded mozzerella cheese
Parmesan Cheese

Brown Ground beef. Then add spaghetti sauce. Set aside.
Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain, then add cottage cheese and mozzerella cheese.
In crockpot- layer sauce mixture and noodle mixture. Start with the sauce mixture and end with the sauce mixture. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Cook on low 3-4 hrs. And that's it.
This recipe is perfect for company. It makes a ton!

Weight Watchers Pumpkin Mini muffins

1 15-oz can pumpkin
1 box spice cake mix

Mix together and spoon into sprayed mini-muffin pan.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
1 point per muffin
